Luis Palma is reportedly set to leave the club with Polish side Lech Poznan his destination.
Transfer correspondent Peter O’Rourke who is usually pretty reliable posted on X earlier this morning that the Honduran international is poised to move on a loan deal due to being unable to attract any potential suiters.
No details of the details ie the length of the deal have been made available, but it’s a move that will suit both parties.
Luis clearly doesn’t have a future at the club, and after a disappointing loan spell in Greece with Olympiacos he returned to Glagow in limbo with clubs put off the £3 million asking price for his signature, rendering any permanent move away unlikely.

Despite a recent report of being handed a second chance by Brendan Rodgers it looks as if Luis could be moving on albeit temporarily once again.
It’s a good move for our perspective as it gets a player not wanted off the wage bill for the time being, and gives us room to accommodate other possible targets.
Gustaf Lagerbielke and Maik Nawrocki have moved on this summer and like Luis Pala they were signed in the 2023 summer of punts at Celtic Park, few of any have shown any real value to the club.

Best of luck to Luis, a lovely guy and a decent player but never really suitable for the high intensity that Celtic require.
