Loan move for Aiden Harangi | OneFootball

The 19-year-old left-back has joined MLS club San Diego FC on loan until the end of the year.

Born in Reston, Virginia, the defender has been in Eintracht Frankfurt’s youth academy since 2018. Last season, Harangi was nominally in the U19 squad but made 21 appearances for the U21s in the south-west Regionalliga (fourth division), as well as gaining valuable experience with the first team.

Furthermore, the USA youth international earned two U19 caps for his country in 2024/25, and a further nine for the U20s.

The 19-year-old has joined the current leaders of the MLS Western Conference with immediate effect and will stay there until 31 December.

Nino Berndroth, head of squad planning for Eintracht’s U17 to U21 teams, said: “Aiden developed well last season. We’re pleased that he now has the chance to establish himself in the top professional league in his homeland – and we believe he’s ready for this step. In the MLS, Aiden will have the opportunity to prove himself at senior level until the end of the year. We wish him every success.”
