Liverpool’s Ibrahima Konaté reacts to reported PSG & Real Madrid interest | OneFootball

Last Friday, ESPN reported that Paris Saint-Germain had made Liverpool centre-back Ibrahima Konaté (25) a priority target for summer. There was a report added that the former Paris FC academy player was tempted by a move back to the French capital. Konaté’s contract with the Reds currently runs until the summer of 2026, and with 18 months left to go, the Premier League side are making efforts to tie down the defender in Merseyside for longer.In an interview with Téléfoot, the French international defender reacted to reported interest from the current Ligue 1 leaders as well as current Champions League holders Real Madrid. “To hear big clubs like that are showing interest in me is very flattering!,” said Konaté on the show which aired this Sunday morning. “Now I’m focussing on this season, giving it my all and I’ll let my agents take care of the rest.” Whilst reports of a move to PSG have emerged, Get French Football News understands that – as things stand – there has been no move made by the capital club to sign the former RB Leipzig defender.
