The Liverpool youngster keeps catching the eye and showcasing his exciting potential.
Doak caught the eye during international duty providing a brilliant assist for Scotland and he has now continued in the same run of form at Middlesbrough.
His side were 1-0 against Oxford with less than ten minutes to go. But Doak inspired a remarkable flurry of goals and spectacular comeback.
Doak won the penalty for Middlesbrough's equaliser with an excellent piece of skill after which he was subsequently clattered by his opponent. The penalty was then converted by Emmanuel Lath.
The Scottish teenager then, continued to be a threat as Middlesbrough scored two more goals before half-time.
Incredibly, Doak was booed at half-time by Oxford supporters, who were unhappy with the Liverpool loanee's involvement in the penalty.
But he seemed to have caught the eye of plenty of Middlesbrough supporters who were in awe of his performance.
In the end Doak played a total of 62 minutes for Middlesbrough and was brought off alongside his hat-trick hero teammate, Lath presumably to be rested ahead of the club's next game on Wednesday against Blackburn.
While he was on the pitch, Doak won two out of two duels and completed seven of his nine passes, meanwhile he also drew the most fouls (2) as per FotMob.
Doak has now been involved in five goal contributions in his last five games for club and country.
If he can maintain that kind of form for the rest of the season then there is almost a guarantee that he will be given an opportunity to break into the Reds' first team.
Having only just recently turned 19 years old, it's evident that the Scotsman is a huge talent.
