Liverpool continue their pre-season preparations against AC Milan in Hong Kong on Saturday.
The Reds take on the Italian giants in the first fixture of their Asian tour. It’s a third fixture of the summer for Arne Slot’s side, who have secured wins over Preston North End and Stoke City, the latter a behind-closed-doors friendly.
The Dutchman will aim to integrate his new signings after a remarkable summer spend from the Premier League champions.
AC Milan take on English opposition for the second time in the Far East, after a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal earlier this week.
Hugo Ekitike could make his first appearance for Liverpool after completing his £69m move to the club from Eintracht Frankfurt. The Frenchman has linked up with the squad in Asia and could debut.
Fellow signing Florian Wirtz did not feature in the win at Preston, but did impress in the behind-closed-doors clash with Stoke. Today’s game will be the first chance for the fans to see the British record recruit in action.
Virgil van Dijk, Alisson Becker, Ibrahima Konate and Alexis Mac Allister could all be involved after missing the win at Preston. Elsewhere, Darwin Nunez will hope to continue his impressive pre-season form. The Uruguayan has scored four goals in two games this summer.
Liverpool predicted XI: Mamardashvili; Frimpong, Konate, Gomez, Kerkez; Gravenberch, Szoboszlai, Jones; Salah, Nunez, Gakpo.
Liverpool take on AC Milan at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong on Saturday 26th July. Kick-off is 12:30pm BST.
The game is not televised in the UK. You can stream the game via Liverpool’s All Red Video channel. A monthly subscription can be purchased for £4.99.
