Paris Saint-Germain are stockpiling young talent and will not gurantee them starting minutes as the capital club want each player to fight for minutes. Moreover, manager Luis Enrique does have a habit of rotating his squad.
Nonetheless, there will be young players who realize that maybe the Spanish manager and the way PSG are doing things isn’t for them. It led to Xavi Simons’ permanent transfer to RB Leipzig as the Dutchman reportedly didn’t receive any assurance regarding game time.
As a result, he was out of the project and one Premier League club is monitoring the situation of a young player, hoping that he probably follows the same route as Simons.

Anfield Watch reports that Liverpool are closely monitoring Désiré Doué, who has become unsettled at PSG due to limited playing time. The French talent is open to a move, and Kvaratskhelia’s arrival could push him even closer to the exit.
Liverpool have been tracking Doué since his time at Stade Rennais and view him as an exciting long-term prospect. His potential availability will likely draw strong interest from the club’s recruitment team.
Even though the Parisians slowly brought Doué along to start the 2024-25 season, since December 2024, the Frenchman’s playing time and role on the squad has increased.
Doué started in the last two UEFA Champions League matches against Manchester City and VfB Stuttgart, so barring anything unforeseen, the young attacker won’t be leaving anytime soon.
PSG signed Doué from Rennes last summer for a €50 million transfer fee. This season, he’s played in 27 total matches, scoring three goals and recording seven assists.
