Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister continues to attract interest from top European clubs, with Real Madrid among those reportedly monitoring his situation.
The Argentina star has been in excellent form for both club and country, making him one of the most sought-after players in the current market.
Mac Allister has previously hinted at the possibility of playing in Spain one day, fuelling speculation about a future move to La Liga.
Real Madrid are on the lookout for midfield reinforcements, albeit not as a priority.
After all, the retirement of Toni Kroos has left a huge void while there are concerns growing about the stagnation of Eduardo Camavinga, who has failed to live up to expectations this season.

The Merengues have thus been linked to Mac Allister on multiple occasions in the not so distant past.
Now, the former Brighton & Hove Albion player’s father has addressed the rumours. Speaking to Argentine channel Picado TV (h/t MARCA), he said:
“For now, I do not think he will leave Liverpool. Time will tell. Alexis is very happy where he is. He lives in Manchester, and on his street are [Andy] Robertson and [Joe] Gomez, and just four blocks away is Licha [Lisandro] Martinez.
“Alexis speaks good English, understands the way things work, and gets along with people. I think it has been the best thing that has happened to him, which made his adaptation easier.”
While Mac Allister appears settled at Liverpool, the door to a future move remains slightly ajar. As his father says, only time will tell.
