Liverpool have agreed a move for an exciting young defender.
It's been quite the summer of activity for the Reds. Richard Hughes has not taken the backseat this time around. He's been driving the forefront of the transfer sagas in European football.

From securing a mega move to bring in Florian Wirtz to signing Hugo Ekitike, Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong.
If these moves were not exciting enough, Liverpool are now also working on a deal to sign Alexander Isak and could bring in Marc Guehi as well.
But while there is the potential of more arrivals at Anfield, there are also going to be some departures. One has now been confirmed by the club, although it's merely a temporary one.
Liverpool have confirmed that their talented defender, Isaac Mabaya, is going to be spending next season on-loan at Wigan Athletic.
Mabaya is 20-years-old, and he's been at the club for a long-time, making his way through the academy ranks. He initially caught the eye of Jurgen Klopp as a teenager during the summer of 2022.
In that pre-season, Mabaya was thoroughly impressive and was probably the most exciting youngster alongside Stefan Bajcetic.
Unfortunately, things just didn't quite work-out for him since, with Mabaya struck by two quite serious injuries that meant he missed a large chunk of the 2022/23 and 2023/24 campaign.
He came back from his injury woes last season and had a solid campaign at U21 level, even earning a long awaited competitive debut in the first team in the FA Cup.
Mabaya played against Plymouth in a forgettable tie for the Reds but undoubtedly a memorable occasion for him.
Now he's going to be spending the season in League One, where a host of Liverpool academy starlets have impressed recently, including Luke Chambers, who had a very successful spell at the club.
Mabaya will be hoping to follow suit. He's still only 20-years-old and a very exciting prospect. This could be his Conor Bradley moment, who also caught the eye in League One before making the step-up to the Reds' first team.
He likely won't be the last U21 academy player to leave the club either. Mabaya is just the fifth confirmed loan this summer, and plenty of others are expected to be on the move as well.
