Ahead of their top-of-the-table clash against Arsenal this weekend, Liverpool have five significant injury concerns.

In his pre-match press conference, Arne Slot answered a question about trio Federico Chiesa, Diogo Jota, and Conor Bradley.

“I think, they feel good but not when it comes to playing for us during the weekend,” Slot admitted.

“Federico might train with us today or tomorrow. Diogo definitely not. Conor Bradley will be, let’s see if he can be with us tomorrow.”

Given Jota has eight goals against Arsenal, it might be a relief to the Gunners that he’s seemingly out of this one.

On top of those three, Alisson will miss the game, with Slot confirming that whilst the goalkeeper is progressing well, he’s still a way off a comeback.

“He’s progressing well, like we expect, but it’s not a short term recovery,” Slot said.

“I can’t tell you for how much longer he will be out but don’t expect him to be in against Brighton in the cup or next week.”

Liverpool’s final injury concern surrounds Harvey Elliott, who has been out since September with a fractured foot. Slot didn’t give an update on Elliott on this occasion, but the midfielder is expected to be out until November.

The good news for Liverpool is that none of the players who played against RB Leipzig in midweek are expected to miss the Arsenal game.

Caoimhin Kelleher will be in goal, with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, and Ibrahima Konate in defence. It remains to be seen whether Andy Robertson or Konstantinos Tsimikas starts at left-back.

Ryan Gravenberch, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Alexis Mac Allister will likely start in midfield, with Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez, and either Cody Gakpo or Luis Diaz in the front three.
