Lille predicted XI v Borussia Dortmund: Osame Sahraoui out, Gabriel Gudmundsson a doubt | OneFootball

Osame Sahraoui, suffering with a pubis issue, will miss Lille OSC’s first leg against Borussia Dortmund, whilst Gabriel Gudmundsson is a doubt for the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 game.

Sahraoui has been suffering with the pubis issue for several weeks and has not made the trip with the Lille squad to Germany. Meanwhile, Gabriel Gudmundsson has made the trip, however, his participation is under considerable threat. He missed training on Monday ahead of the game with flu-like symptoms. There is hope that he will be able to participate but his place in the starting XI is doubtful.

Tiago Santos, Samuel Umtiti, and Edon Zhegrova are all still out with their respective long-term injuries (although the latter is expected to return at the end of the month), whilst Nabil Bentaleb is ineligible having been left out of Lille’s Champions League squad. The Algerian recently made his long-awaited return having suffered a cardiac arrest last summer. That return came after the submission of LOSC’s Champions League squad for the knockout rounds.
