Long a target for Paris Saint-Germain, Maghnes Akliouche will not be leaving AS Monaco for just any price. The Principality club has drawn a firm line in the sand, cooling the enthusiasm of many European sides interested in the Algerian talent.

According to French media, AS Monaco is demanding over €70 million to even open real negotiations for their 22-year-old winger. That’s a hefty price tag for any interested club, including PSG, who have been tracking the player for several months. The Monegasques consider Maghnes Akliouche untouchable for anything less than a minimum of €50 million, setting the bar extremely high in a market where financial caution prevails.

Despite interest from Premier League and Serie A clubs, and even Bayer Leverkusen, no concrete offer exceeding €50 million has landed on the table so far. Unless a last-minute blockbuster bid comes through, Akliouche looks set to remain with Monaco for at least another season.
