According to a report from Foot Mercato, RC Lens have reached an agreement with Brøndby IF for Mathias Kvistgaarden (23), as they look to bring in attacking reinforcements following last season’s disappointing attacking output.

Les Sang et Or struggled last season to find the back of the net, scoring only 42 times in 34 league games, a record that left the club with the worst attacking record in the top half of Ligue 1. It’s clear that this is an area that the club need to address, especially with M’Bala Nzola returning to Fiorentina following a disappointing spell.

Kvistgaarden looks as if he could be the player to right Lens’s attacking woes, the Danish international scoring 23 times in 38 appearances across all competitions this season. However, Lens are not the only club interested, and the striker is hesitating over agreeing personal terms as Foot Mercato writes that an undisclosed Championship club are interested in his signature.
