FLW's Foxes Fan Pundit gives his thoughts on the recent links between the club and Josh Brownhill.

Leicester City have offered Josh Brownhill a contract following his exit from Burnley this summer.
Clubs such as West Ham, Celtic and Leicester's fellow relegated side, Ipswich, have all been linked with the midfielder. But, according to FourFourTwo, the Foxes have offered the 29-year-old a lengthy contract proposal.
Football League World's Leicester Fan Pundit, Louchlainn, believes that the 29-year-old would be a fantastic addition as Leicester prepare for life back in the second tier, but raises concerns regarding the financial side of the deal.
"Brownhill is an interesting one for me," said Louchlainn when asked whether the midfielder is an ideal replacement for Bilal El Khannouss. "There is no doubt about his talent at Championship level: He would be one of the best midfielders in the division.
"The concerns for me are the wages, the length of the contract he would demand, and potentially his age."
Louchlainn raised the argument that Leicester can't follow the same path that they have done in recent years: "We can't go down the same route as we have previously with older players. We put them on higher wages and long contracts, which then means that we struggle to move them on."
However, he was keen to outline what a fantastic addition Brownhill would be: "As a free agent, I would sway towards the side of it being a good move.
"You are probably getting what is a £10-15 million player for no transfer fee, that chance doesn't come too often. So, I think it would be a great move for both parties.
"I think he will start for us, especially if El Khannouss leaves. I think the club would be willing to offer anything up to £70,000 a week, whereas I would much rather we stuck to around £50,000.
"But, when you have the chance to sign one of the best midfielders in the division, high wages will be demanded, and that is just the way the cookie crumbles, unfortunately."
Leicester became the first Premier League side to lose eight games in a row without finding the back of the net on their way to relegation last term.
And the summer of preparation for life back in the second tier has been far from ideal, with the club having to jump through hoops to comply with EFL rules.
However, an arrival of Brownhill's calibre would be fantastic value for money, and Leicester would be bringing in a player who had the best season of his career with Burnley last term as they stormed back to the Premier League.
A proven player in the second tier with added Premier League experience, Brownhill would be a big statement of intent as the Foxes look to bounce back to the top flight under Marti Cifuentes.
