Barcelona have announced an exciting addition to their Legends team with David Villa.
The prolific striker who graced Camp Nou from 2010 to 2013, is set to don the Blaugrana colours once more.
Villa, famously known for his pivotal role in securing the 2011 Champions League title at Wembley with a memorable goal, will enhance the squad for their upcoming clash against Real Madrid Leyendas in Doha on November 28.
This match, scheduled at 7 pm local time, marks the first of two legendary encounters between these football giants this season.
The Legends team, under the guidance of former Barça defender Albert Ferrer, is gearing up for an exhibition of football nostalgia and skill.

Following this event, the legends will travel to Tokyo for another Clásico on December 15, showcasing the global appeal of this storied rivalry.
Joining Villa in this nostalgic return is Ricardo Quaresma, another former Barça player, who will make his debut for the Legends team. Quaresma’s brief stint with Barcelona in the 2003-04 season under Frank Rijkaard adds another layer of history to this reunion.
The lineup includes other illustrious names like Rivaldo and Ronaldinho, who helped Barça secure a victory against a Brazilian legends team in Curitiba recently.
The team also features former players like Eric Abidal, Frank de Boer, and Patrick Kluivert, promising a blend of experience and flair.
Fans eager to witness this legendary matchup can catch the action live on Barça One, where the return of these football icons is expected to evoke memories of Barça’s glorious past.
