Leeds United full-back Jayden Bogle has revealed that Daniel Farke’s playing style this season has suited him well, allowing him to express himself, especially going forward.

The German manager has used a 4-2-3-1 formation this season, allowing the full-backs more opportunity to make forward runs from the back.

With Junior Firpo on the other side of the back four, Bogle has enjoyed the role, and his figures reflect that.

In the 14 league matches he has played for the Whites so far, Bogle has scored two goals from the back.

The summer signing from Sheffield United insists that his new role has allowed him to express himself and helped him develop his game.

“Yes, 100 per cent [it has suited me the way Leeds United have played this season]”, Bogle told BBC Radio Leeds.

“I think it allows me to express myself especially going forward, combining with players building relationships, especially in the final third which I am trying to create and scoring goals.

“I think it has really helped me develop my game as well.”

Bogle also took time to reveal how he has developed his relationship with his team-mates, which will be even morte important as the games come thick and fast.

“Everyone that plays has got different qualities.

“When I first joined it was just about building relationships and understanding how different players play.

“I think I am in a good place with that.

“I think everyone in this team have good understanding of each other now deep into the season where the games obviously get more frequent, a very busy period too.

“It will be very important for us to keep improving those relationships and keep going into games and keep the relationships as strong as possible.”

Leeds will hope to build on the 2-0 win they managed against QPR before the international break when they visit Swansea City on Sunday.
