Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes was recently interviewed by BPlay Telefe regarding the possibility of a return to Argentina.
More specifically, about his long-awaited return to Boca Juniors.

During the interview, Paredes – currently away on international duty – said, “The release clause in my contract is only for Boca, not for other clubs, I think.”
“However, I prefer not to talk about it. When one speaks it creates expectations and people delude themselves, so I prefer that things happen as they have always happened in my career and if it has to happen, it will happen..”
“I only have words of respect and affection towards Boca,” reiterated the Argentine player.
