Pep Guardiola and his players have the opportunity to win a fourth successive Premier League crown by winning their remaining three top-flight matches, while an FA Cup final against Manchester United awaits in their final domestic clash of the season.

As part of that excitement for the new season is speculation around Manchester City’s new range of kit designs produced by sportswear giants Puma, who are expected to officially release their new home edition imminently.

However, ahead of the official release of Manchester City’s traditional sky blue shirt, images on social media have started to circulate which provides supporters with an early look as to what they can expect to drop very soon.

As per a new video released by reputable football shirt source esvaphane on social media platform X, Manchester City’s 2024/25 home shirt has been ‘unboxed’ ahead of its official release – expected to land this month.

Manchester City and Puma have opted for yet another bold design in their new release, with the collar and cuffs of the shirt paying homage to the Greater Manchester region’s dialling code ‘0161’.

Social media has been split in its reaction to the new design and reference to the area code of Greater Manchester, with one user responding to leaked images by stating, “Maybe I’ll warm up to it, but right off the bat, it’s a no for me dawg”.

Elsewhere and Manchester City’s away and third shirts are also expected to feature bold new designs, with the early understanding from sources on social media being that they will reference the likes of the 2012/13 and 1998/1999 campaigns.
