Lazio are reportedly interested in KAA Gent’s left-back Archie Brown, but so is Marco Baroni’s Torino.
The Italian capital side recently bought Nuno Tavares outright from Arsenal, but it is believed that the Portuguese can be sold for the right price, especially after enduring an injury-riddled second half of the season. Therefore, the Biancocelesti are searching the market for a new left-back, and have been linked with several profiles, including Aaron Martin, Ben Chilwell and Fabiano Parisi.
According to Italian journalist Orazio Accomando, Lazio are also keeping tabs on Archie Brown, a 23-year-old Englishman who has been impressive in Belgium. Nevertheless, Baroni, who recently left his post at Formello, and his new employers, Torino, are hoping to lure the full-back to Northern Italy, while several Premier League clubs are looking to bring him back home.

Brown is an academy product of Derby County, who opted for an unconventional career trajectory, signing for Swiss top-flight club Lausanne Sport in the summer of 2021. After two years in Switzerland, he made the move to KAA Gent in 2023, and has been plying his trade with the Belgian side ever since.
This season, the Birmingham native made 46 appearances across all competitions, scoring three goals in the process and producing six assists. Brown is tied to Gent with a contract valid until June 2027, and Transfermarkt estimates his value at €7 million. It should be noted that Brown has been on Lazio’s shortlist since last summer.
