Lazio are currently finalizing a sponsorship deal that will help the club lift the transfer ban imposed by COVISOC.
The Biancocelesti haven’t had a main shirt sponsor since their agreement with Binance expired by the end of the 2022/23 season. While Claudio Lotito and Co. weren’t too troubled by the lack of sponsors in the last two campaigns, their current financial situation required an urgent intervention.

Lazio are currently prevented from signing any new players this summer as their latest account statement failed to meet the required standards. Therefore, the management is currently working on finding additional income streams.
According to Il Messaggero, Lazio are on the verge of signing an agreement with a new main shirt sponsor whose identity remains anonymous. As the source explains, this deal should provide the club with a boost worth €5 million per year.
Moreover, the club will be hoping to receive an advanced payment for the upcoming seasons, which would help them settle their accounts and lift the ban ahead of the January transfer window.
This would allow Lazio to intervene on the market and bolster Maurizio Sarri’s squad in mid-season, and also secure the futures of Mario Gila, Alessio Romagnoli and others with new contracts.
The club’s Marketing Manager, Marco Canigiani, confirmed ongoing negotiations with a potential new sponsor, but he doesn’t expect the deal to be concluded before Sunday’s Serie A contest against Hellas Verona.
We’re still working on a main sponsor, but it’s unlikely they’ll be available in time for the match against Verona. Negotiations are ongoing, and we hope for a positive outcome.
