Chelsea attacker Christopher Nkunku is not particularly high on Bayern Munich’s list of targets according to Bundesliga expert Christian Falk.
The Blues have been busy this summer, and agreed a deal for Jorrel Hato earlier this week, having already signed attacking trio. Jamie Gittens, Liam Delap and Joao Pedro.
Chelsea are still working on a deal to sign Xavi Simons, with negotiations said to be at an advanced stage for the RB Leizpig attacker.
It’s great to see the squad being strengthened in important areas, but the Blues have a number of players they still need to move on, with Nkunku falling into that category.
Joao Felix, Noni Madueke, Djordje Petrovic and Kepa Arrizabalaga have all left, but the Blues are yet to find a solution for Nkunku.
The 27-year-old is seemingly surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, and is expected to leave this summer having joined for £52m from Leipzig in the summer of 2023.

Nkunku is attracting interest from Newcastle and Nottingham Forest, whilst Manchester United and Bayern Munich are also said to have held interest.
Chelsea are believed to have dropped their asking price to £43.3m, having wanted in excess of £60m in January, when Bayern were holding serious interest.
However, it appears the German giants may have cooled their interest, and Falk has provided an update on the situation.

“It’s all calmed down at the moment with Christopher Nkunku and Xavi Simons,” he wrote in his latest Bayern Insider column.
“The latter is a very hot option for Chelsea. Nkunku is also not particularly high up on the list and will remain that way for as long as a decision is yet to be made on Woltemade.”
With Chelsea looking to move Nkunku on, they are also working on a deal to bring Simons in, and the Blues are still locked in negotiations with Leipzig.
The Bundesliga outfit are said to want a total package of £60m for the 22-year-old, although it’s thought Chelsea want to pay less.
Simons is thought to be close to agreeing personal terms, and wants to join Chelsea, but it’s thought a few sales need to made before the Blues move to finalise a deal.
