Chelsea have no plans to sign a superstar player this summer such as Real Madrid’s Rodrygo according to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol.
The Blues are preparing for yet another busy summer with the club looking to sign a striker, centre back and right footed winger to bolster Enzo Maresca’s squad.
Chelsea face a critical window and could fund their business by selling as many as seven or eight players with a number of squad members surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.
A striker is the main priority, but what the Blues need this summer are proven players with quality, who bring leadership and experience to improve the first team.
Fans want to see top level stars come in to provide that blend of youth and experience, and the Blues have been linked with Rodrygo who certainly ticks those boxes.

The 24-year-old could well leave Real Madrid this summer, and former Blue Frank Leboeuf believes Rodrygo is the calibre of player Chelsea should be targeting.
However, Sky reporter Solhekol has provided an update on Chelsea’s transfer plans for the summer, which will leave fans disappointed.
He took to X.com and said:
“Chelsea are on course to bank a £200m windfall but they have no plans to sign superstar players such as Real Madrid winger Rodrygo.
“The 24-year-old Brazilian has been linked with a €100m move to Chelsea but he is not currently a target.
“Rodrygo is viewed as an exceptional player but the total cost of any potential deal, including wages, is prohibitive and a move would not fit in with Chelsea’s strategy in recent transfer windows.”
With a move for Rodrygo seemingly ruled out the Blues do have other targets, and there’s set to be movement in the wides areas.
