Stefan Bajcetic is expected to leave Liverpool before the summer transfer window closes on Friday. A return to Spain is very possible for the former Celta Vigo academy star, with clubs in La Liga monitoring his situation.

As reported by Relevo, Bajcetic’s representatives have been in contact with Valencia, Las Palmas and Real Sociedad in recent days. However, all three clubs are not completely sold on the idea of signing the teenager on loan.

At this stage, Valencia do not have the salary space to make a move for Bajectic. Equally, Las Palmas are unlikely to have the financial muscle to meet the demands set by Liverpool. For La Real, they are unsure whether another midfielder is needed, given that they’ve already got Martin Zubimendi and Benat Turrientes as pivot options.

It remains to be seen whether Bajcetic does return to Spain in the next week. Real Sociedad looks like his most likely destination, but it’s far from certain that he ends up in Donostia-San Sebastian.
