Blue-nosed Sky Sports pundit Kris Boyd made a fool of himself yet again yesterday after Celtic impressive win in the frozen north…

Celtic’s dominant 4-1 win

Following Celtic’s dominant 4-1 win over Don Cowie and his Ross County side this afternoon in the Scottish Premiership, Sky Sports pundit, Kris Boyd made a fool of himself when he made the whacky suggestion that Alistair Johnston should have been sent off at the Ross County penalty award!

Chris Sutton was just laughing in utter disbelief at the former Rangers and Kilmarnock star, arguing that there is never any call for a red card in those type of situations. That was never going to impact the view of the bluenose pundit though, as his blinding partiality always continues to shine through whenever covering Celtic, so much so, that it’s becoming tedious now to watch.

Even Boyd was slagging the Rangers

Perhaps it was an attempt to get his fellow Bears back onside after he broke rank pre-match with the inference that for some it was -15, when host Eilidh Barbour revealed the freezing weather conditions the night before the Scottish Premiership Champions arrived to face Ross County.

Regardless of the reasoning behind his madcap notion, it still doesn’t take away from the fact it was ludicrous to suggest Alistair Johnston should have been sent for an early shower for that innocuous push on the Staggies’ players back.

Sometimes it is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt….
