Khvicha Kvaratskhelia asked for Napoli exit in December | OneFootball

Serie A giants Napoli are now going to lose Khvicha Kvaratskhelia this month and more background has emerged about the situation.

Antonio Conte has revealed that the Georgian has asked to leave Napoli and that he is disappointed about how things have developed.

AreaNapoli have provided more details about the situation and have stated that PSG offered €10 million a season some weeks ago to the winger and once that happened, Kvaratskhelia spoke to Conte about his decision regarding the future. That is when the player informed the Italian that he wants to leave and this happened in December.

He was not available for the game against Fiorentina largely due to this reason. While Conte did try to convince Kvara about staying – as he had done in the summer, the attempts didn’t yield a reward as the Georgia international had already made up his mind.

As a result of this, the 23-year-old will not get a farewell at the club.
