The low free-kick has largely become a thing of the past due to players lying down behind the wall, but they can still make teams look very silly.
That is precisely what happened exactly seven years ago, when Kevin de Bruyne helped Man City into the fifth round of the FA Cup at the expense of Cardiff City.
Faced with a seven man wall just 20 yards from goal, De Bruyne rolled the ball underneath their jump and into the far corner, handing his side an early lead in the tie.
They went on to win 2-0, but then suffered a nasty shock in the next round as Wigan Athletic struck again to knock them out of the competition!
