Real Madrid legend Karim Benzema moved to provide his seal of approval, after youngster Gonzalo García proved himself decisive for Los Blancos once again.

The name of frontman Gonzalo has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Spain’s capital across the day to date.

This comes after the 21-year-old continued to take full advantage of the opportunity being afforded to him at the Club World Cup.

En route to a 1-0 victory over Italian powerhouse Juventus in the competition’s knockout rounds, Gonzalo notched the only goal of the game.

Post-match, the Spanish starlet in turn took to social media, to celebrate a special moment in his fledgling career.

And as alluded to above, quick to provide his response to as much was one of the greatest goalscorers in Real Madrid’s storied history.
