La Gazzetta dello Sport reiterates that the Juventus management fully trusts coach Thiago Motta. However, the ex-Italian international must qualify for the Champions League and reach the Round of 16 this season.
Juventus fans are losing patience with the team and Motta, but according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Bianconeri boss is not at risk of sacking despite a poor start to 2025.
The Bianconeri have won just one game from seven across all competitions in the new year and lost back-to-back games against Napoli and Benfica.

According to Gazzetta, Juventus directors still trust the former Bologna coach, who signed a three-year deal at the Allianz Stadium last summer.
The report claims directors were aware Motta would need time to build a team with many new and young players, but there are minimum targets the 42-year-old must fulfil this season.
Juventus expect Motta to reach a Champions League placement this season and qualify at least for the Round of 16 of the competition.
Juventus have earned a spot in the Champions League knockout playoff and will face Milan or PSV in the next round, learning their opponents during today’s draw.
