Juventus star Andrea Cambiaso’s agent speaks of Manchester City and Liverpool links | OneFootball

Serie A giants Juventus have seen Andrea Cambiaso get linked with a move to Manchester City and Liverpool since the January transfer window.

His agent had confirmed that the Citizens did come forward for the versatile full-back and there rumours that Manchester City will come back in for the Italian during the summer transfer window.

Cambiaso’s agent Giovanni Bia spoke to Tuttomercatoweb about the situation of the Italy international and he revealed that the player is quite happy at Juventus and is currently only thinking about his future with the Bianconeri.

He said: “He is absolutely focused on Juventus. It is normal that there are these sirens being one of the strongest full-backs in Europe. There are a few movements around, for example Alexander Arnold seems like he could go to Real Madrid but in general there are various situations that could change.”

Further, he said: “At the moment he is not interested in anything, his objective is Juventus and to do very well there. He is absolutely happy at Juventus, he has always said it in a thousand ways and in a thousand places. His dream is to bring Juventus back to the highest levels, to play for Juventus and to have a great career at Juventus, helping the club to return to winning ways on a par with the European big names. But I have no doubts that within one or two years he will do it.”

Bia also also spoke about Cambiaso’s season so far at Juventus and he reflected on it quite positively.

He said: “The season has been very positive: he had a great start to the season, with wonderful performances. Then he had this huge problem with his ankle that he dragged around for two months, he had recovered from it before relapsing against Atalanta with a sprain.

“Now we hope he returns on Sunday, he is focused on doing so and on being well. He wants to help Juventus reach the Champions League objective, which is all that remains at the moment.”

Bayern Munich have also been linked with the possibility of signing Cambiaso and talk has suggested that contact has already been made.

As weeks go by, more could come around about his situation, especially considering that Juve could feel the need to sell.
