Juventus are taking clear but complex steps in the transfer window, with outgoing moves set to define the club’s ability to refresh the squad under Igor Tudor. According to Spazio J, Bianconera News, Tutto Juve, and other Italian reports, multiple operations are in motion with a strong focus on balancing market ambitions and financial constraints.
Filip Kostic, back in Turin after his loan at Fenerbahce, appears destined for the exit. The Serbian winger, whose contract expires in a year, struggled to impress during his spell in Turkey and in his recent Juventus appearances. Sources indicate Tudor has made it clear that Kostic does not feature in his plans, with Atalanta, Roma, and Bologna showing interest. Juventus are seeking the best solution for a transfer, aiming to bring in funds and reduce the wage bill.
In attack, the club is pushing to reshape the frontline. With difficulties in pursuing Victor Osimhen, Juventus are prioritizing Jonathan David from Lille. According to Niccolò Ceccarini (Bianconera News), an offer has already been tabled: a three-year contract worth just over €6 million per season. Some details, including agent commissions, remain to be sorted, but talks are advancing.
Jadon Sancho is high on the shortlist as an alternative or complement to other attacking targets. While the main focus is Francisco Conceicao, Porto’s insistence on receiving the full €30 million release clause keeps negotiations at an impasse. Gianni Balzarini (Tutto Juve) notes that Sancho is "very desirous of joining Juventus" and is pressing for a move to Turin. The club’s strategy seems to be leveraging its pursuit of Sancho to potentially force Porto's hand, knowing that either outcome—landing Conceicao or switching to the English winger—would strengthen their attack.
Timothy Weah and Mbangula could be included in a potential exchange with Marseille for centre-back Balerdi, a player Tudor previously coached in Ligue 1. While a proposed move to Nottingham Forest for Weah fell through, negotiations for defensive reinforcements continue, including observation of Bologna’s Jhon Lucumi and interest in Flamengo’s Wesley, valued at €30 million.
Kenan Yildiz, who has impressed during the Club World Cup, is considered a fundamental piece for the future. The aim is to extend his contract by another year, until 2030, with improved terms, and talks between the parties are already underway.
Overall, Juventus’ summer hinges on securing exits for surplus players to fund these ambitious moves, with the future of several first-team members unresolved. The club is balancing market opportunities with the necessity of generating resources, aiming for a transfer window defined as much by strategic sales as by high-profile arrivals.
