Juventus player pushing for club to sign West Ham’s Jean-Clair Todibo | OneFootball

Serie A giants Juventus have been linked with a move for West Ham’s Jean-Clair Todibo in the last few days and the avenue is likely to still be open.

The Bianconeri tried to sign Todibo in the summer transfer window but after they failed to get discounts in the move, West Ham signed him on an initial loan with the obligation to buy.

The player has emerged as a target for Juve once again. Alfredo Pedulla has reported that Juve’s Khephren Thuram, who knows Todibo since their time at Nice, is making efforts to bring the defender to Turin. There is a possibility that they can have a chat with each other, with the centre-back currently said to be interested in a switch.

As of now though, everything depends on the approval of West Ham and what kind of deal they want. There is also the question of Nice, who know that there are no guarantees for the obligation to buy to be triggered. Juve only want a loan deal and it remains to be seen how the situation evolves.
