Who will Juventus play at the FIFA Club World Cup?

Juventus have been drawn into Group G for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. They will be joined by Manchester City, Wydad AC and Al Ain.

Group G begins in the following order:

Manchester City

Wydad AC

Al Ain

Juventus

Who will Juventus play first?

As Juventus were drawn into position four in Group G, Juventus will face Al Ain of the UAE first.

The Bianconeri will then face Wydad AC of Morocco in their second group stage match, before lining up against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the final group stage game.

When are Juve’s fixtures?

The official dates for Club World Cup fixtures have not yet been confirmed, but group stage matches are expected to take place over the first two weeks of the tournament, which begins on June 15, 2025.

Where will Juventus play?

12 venues across 11 cities in the United States are hosting the 2025 Club World Cup. They are as follows:

  • Mercedes-Benz Stadium – Atlanta, Georgia
  • TQL Stadium – Cincinnati, Ohio
  • Bank of America Stadium – Charlotte, North Carolina
  • Rose Bowl Stadium – Los Angeles, California
  • Hard Rock Stadium – Miami, Florida
  • GEODIS Park – Nashville, Tennessee
  • MetLife Stadium – East Rutherford, New Jersey
  • Camping World Stadium – Orlando, Florida
  • Inter&Co Stadium – Orlando, Florida
  • Lincoln Memorial Field – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
  • Lumen Field – Seattle, Washington
  • Audi Field – Washington, D.C.

It remains to be seen which stadia Inter will play in at the final tournament.

How does the knock-out stage work?

Exactly the same as the recent 32-team World Cup for international sides.

The two highest-ranked teams from each group will progress directly into the knock-out rounds. There will be no play-offs for teams that finish in third place.

The knockout rounds are all single-legged, and will begin from the round of 16, then the quarter-finals, the semi-finals and then the eventual final.

Could Juventus face Inter?

Yes. There is a possibility of a Derby d’Italia between Inter and Juventus.

In order for that to happen, Inter and Juventus will both need to finish in first place, or both in second place in their respective groups. If that happens, they will meet in the quarter-finals, assuming that both teams also progress through the round of 16.

If one team finishes top of their group and the other in second, Inter and Juventus will be drawn into opposite sides of the knock-out bracket, and will not meet until the final.
