Junior Cityzens spend day as photographers with unique matchday experience | OneFootball

Two Junior Cityzens won an exclusive member competition to be matchday photographers for the day at the FA Cup clash with Salford City.

Rosie and Theo joined us at the Etihad Stadium for a unique experience as they shadowed club photographer Tom Barton for our fantastic 8-0 victory.

The lucky competition winners used Polaroid cameras and phone cameras to capture images on gameday and were able to print them off as mementos.

Rosie and Theo began their duties at the Blue Carpet, capturing the arrival of Pep Guardiola and the squad, after being interviewed for Matchday Live to discuss their upcoming day.

They then headed pitchside to snap some shots of the first team warming up, with a unique view that can't be replicated from the stands.

Their shifts still weren’t over as they sought out some special images of fans heading into their seats ahead of the game before getting ready for players to walk out on the pitch ahead of the kick-off.

Once their duties were done pre-match, they were able to enjoy the match from their seats and enjoy a fabulous win by the Blues.

Both keen photographers, learning the ins and outs of what it’s like to work on matchday with the unique behind-the-scenes experience has added to their enthusiasm.
