Jude Bellingham responds to Trent Alexander-Arnold’s Real Madrid move being made official | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has provided his reaction to close friend Trent Alexander-Arnold’s move to Spain’s capital at last being confirmed.

The name of defender Alexander-Arnold of course dominated the headlines across Spanish football on Friday.

This came after Real Madrid, after months of speculation, finally announced the Englishman’s signing on a long-term contract from Liverpool.

As per a statement across Los Blancos’ website and social media platforms:

‘Real Madrid C. F. and Liverpool FC have reached an agreement to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold for the next six seasons, from 1 June 2025 to 30 June 2031.’

Messages of well wishes have since come pouring in for Alexander-Arnold, chiefly on the part of the Real Madrid faithful.

As alluded to above, though, also publicly welcoming the 26-year-old to his new home at the Santiago Bernabéu was a current member of Xabi Alonso’s squad.

Taking to his official Instagram account, Jude Bellingham unveiled a photo of he and Alexander-Arnold playing for England, accompanied by the caption:

‘Welcome trentarnold66!’
