Jude Bellingham had a somewhat underwhelming start to the season, but he has picked up form in recent weeks. In Real Madrid’s last five La Liga matches, he has provided five goals and three assists, with Los Blancos winning four of those games (one defeat, vs Athletic Club on Thursday).
Bellingham’s five goals have come in each of the aforementioned five matches (vs Osasuna, Leganes, Getafe, Athletic and Girona). As per Diario AS, he is only the third La Liga player in the last 10 years to have achieved this feat – the other two were also with Real Madrid, being Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, who actually did it on four separate occasions.
Bellingham’s scoring form at the start of last season took Europe by storm, and he is starting to look that inevitable again. Real Madrid will be delighted with their number five, and things are certainly looking up after a tricky spell for the defending La Liga champions.
