Manchester United lost 1-0 against Wolves at Old Trafford in what was their 15th Premier League defeat of the season.
The Red Devils continue to struggle in the league this season and now a finish in the bottom half of the table is confirmed for the club.
While other big clubs are fighting for qualification to the Champions League next season, United are waiting for the season to end and hoping to perform well in the Europa League.
The defeat against Wolves showed that United desperately need a new attacker after the poor performance of Rasmus Hojlund.
The striker has scored just one goal in the last 28 games for Ruben Amorim’s side.
He missed some glorious chances to score against Wolves which only reiterated that a new striker is needed at Old Trafford.
Writing on X after the match at Old Trafford today, journalist Samuel Luckhurst urged the Red Devils to sign a proven goal scorer in the summer transfer window.
He wrote:
“That’s now 13 games #mufc have failed to score in this season. The prospect of them going for a potential striker with a release clause would be cutting corners. Even if they can only sign one player in the summer, it has to be a proven goalscorer.”

After failing to score in 13 games this season, it is clear what the club’s priority in the transfer window should be.
Jamie O’Hara criticised Hojlund for his poor performance against Wolves and claimed that the attacker is just ‘not good enough’ to play for Man United.
The former Atalanta man has been given chances after chances to prove himself but he has failed big time to win over the fans and the manager.
