Midfielder Stefano Sensi admits that he “had a lot of physical problems” across his time at Inter Milan.
The 29-year-old looked back on his five years spent as an Inter player speaking to Radio Sportiva, via FCInterNews.
Stefano Sensi joined Inter Milan from Sassuolo in the summer of 2019.
And the Italian would stay at the Nerazzurri until last summer.
During those five years, Sensi made a grand total of just 57 appearances for Inter across all competitions. Meanwhile, he also had loan spells with the likes of Sampdoria and Monza.
Last summer, Sensi left Inter at the end of his contract. He joined Monza on a free transfer.
However, Sensi’s contract with the Brianzoli was just a one-year deal. Therefore, he looks to be available once again as a free transfer.
There is hardly any doubting Sensi’s technical quality. This inspired Inter to sign him in 2019, whilst his performances in a Nerazzurri shirt – particularly in his first couple months at the club – showed great promise.
However, the big issue for Sensi was always availability. He simply could not be reliably fit and ready to play.

Sensi stated that right now he’s “doing well” as a free agent.
“I can enjoy being with my family,” the 29-year-old said. “My kids are with their grandparents.”
“But as the days go by, the tension builds. I went through this period last year as well.”
“I’m also used to it,” Sensi admitted. “Even if it’s not a big deal.”
The midfielder then stated that “the main thing is to choose the right project.”
“Now that I have a family and kids, you have to evaluate everything from a 360 degree perspective.”
Sensi commented that “you have to make the right choice for your life, and take everything into consideration.”
The 29-year-old then looked back that “I went through some difficulties physically, particularly at Inter.”
“But now I’m feeling good,” he insisted. “I’ve been fine for a couple years now.”
“A few injuries are a part of the game. I’ve met a guy who I’ve been working with for a couple years, and he’s been a huge help.”
