Inter Milan take on Bayern Munich in the Champions League tomorrow.

And the Nerazzurri head into the match with a few nagging fitness doubts.

Inter wingback Federico Dimarco came back from a thigh problem after the international break.

The Italian international started in Inter’s Serie A matches against Udinese and Parma. Between the two matches, he provided three assists.

However, Federico Dimarco is not at his best physically.

The 27-year-old admitted himself that he pushed to return after the international break.

Therefore, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is very much having to manage Dimarco’s fitness.

This included leaving the Italian out of the starting eleven for last week’s Coppa Italia semifinal first leg against AC Milan.

And according to Sky, it is far from certain that Dimarco will be ready to start against Bayern tomorrow.

Naturally, the Champions League quarterfinal first leg is a huge match for Inter. And Dimarco would certainly do what he can to make himself available.

However, if it proves to be a bridge too far, Sky reports, then Brazilian international Carlos Augusto will start at left-wingback tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the broadcaster reports that Alessandro Bastoni is fit to start against Bayern, despite a scare during the weekend’s match against Parma.
