Federico Dimarco, Benjamin Pavard, and Lautaro Martinez will all return to the Inter Milan starting eleven against AC Milan in the derby.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They report that Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi has already made his decisions for the match conclusively.

One thing that’s clear is that Inter coach Inzaghi will set out to name a starting eleven against Milan that’s something close to his strongest available.

Last weekend, the Nerazzurri coach chopped and changed for an away trip to Monza.

Then on Wednesday, Inter faced Manchester City in the Champions League. Inzaghi started a number of players who did not play against Monza.

All of Hakan Calhanoglu, Nicolo Barella, Alessandro Bastoni, and Francesco Acerbi started against City. They had all gotten the night off against Monza.

And according to Sky, all four will keep their place in the derby.

But in a few key areas of the pitch, Inzaghi is ready to insert players back into the team.

Dimarco, Pavard & Lautaro To Start For Inter Vs AC Milan

On the left flank, Sky report, Federico Dimarco will definitely start this evening.

The Italian international had been out of Wednesday’s Champions League opener against City due to injury.

However, Dimarco is now fit and available. And there is no doubt that Inzaghi will start him ahead of Carlos Augusto.

Then at right-wingback, Denzel Dumfries will get his first start of the season for Inter according to Sky.

On the right side of defense, Benjamin Pavard will get his starting place back for Inter.

The Frenchman had not started against City, with Yann Bisseck getting the nod. But he will take the place of the German against the Rossoneri.

Lastly, in attack Sky reports that there is no doubt Inter captain Lautaro Martinez will start in the derby.

The Argentine started on the bench against City. This came amid ongoing concerns about his form and fitness.

In the derby, though, Inzaghi will put his trust in his captain up front.
