The future of Ismaël Bennacer remains uncertain as the summer transfer window draws to a close. Despite confirmed interest from clubs such as Al Ittihad and Besiktas, the 27-year-old midfielder has yet to depart AC Milan.
A potential transfer could materialize through an exchange deal. Italian publication Tuttosport reports that AC Milan are interested in Olympique Marseille’s Adrien Rabiot, who is under contract until 2026. Marseille’s continued interest in Bennacer has led to discussions about a possible swap that would see the Algerian international move to France as part of the arrangement.
Despite having a contract with AC Milan until June 2027, Ismaël Bennacer is no longer considered part of the club's future plans. The Algerian international, who earns an annual salary of €7.04 million, has been the subject of transfer interest from various leagues.
However, the 27-year-old, valued at €15 million by Transfermarkt, has turned down multiple offers from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Russia. His priority remains to continue his career in a competitive European league.
