Every time an experienced football superstar leaves his European club, the MLS seems to be the answer. It is the case of Son, De Paul, and Thomas Müller.
However, in the last couple of years, the MLS has suffered more rumours and fake news than confirmed signings.
Since Lionel Messi's arrival, every month, a newspaper article has been published about the possibility of that player joining Inter Miami.
A few days ago, this phenomenon happened again. This time, an English top striker was rumoured to give a hint about his next destination due to an Instagram post.
The career of Jamie Vardy ended in the 2024/25 season, but the English striker said during his farewell: "I'll keep going until my legs tell me I need to stop. My legs are fine."
Giving the illusion that he didn't actually retire, but if an interesting offer appears on the table, and his legs let him, he will hop on his boots once again.
The rumour linked to the former Leicester player and Inter Miami started with an Instagram picture of his wife, Rebekha, showing his three sons wearing Inter Miami shirts.
Let me tell you, this is just a massive coincidence. According to the Daily Mail, a source from Inter Miami confirmed there is no way the club will sign Vardy.
Despite his great career, the Herons already have a veteran offense with Messi and Suarez. If you're still unconvinced, Inter Miami recently made a significant effort to sign Rodrigo De Paul.
