Two Juventus players were in action on Friday, November 15, with their respective national teams, as Dusan Vlahovic starred for Serbia in their Nations League match-up in Switzerland, while Francisco Conceicao's Portugal were too strong for Poland.
Starting in Switzerland, striker Dusan Vlahovic put out a solid performance in his national team shirt, and was one of the standout players on the pitch in the hard-fought and entertaining Nations League match-up between the hosts and Serbia. Creating numerous chances, while also shaving the post, our number 9 provided the decisive assist for teammate Aleksa Terzic to score the leveller as the match ended 1-1, leaving the Serbians two points adrift of their next opponents, Denmark, with one Nations League group stage match left to play.
Over in Portugal, Roberto Martinez's side continued their unbeaten run in the Nations League with an emphatic 5-1 win at home to Poland, securing their spot in the quarter-finals. Conceicao was an unused substitute in the encounter.
Two more Bianconeri will be in action in the Nations League on Saturday, 16 November, with Kenan Yildiz and Teun Koopmeiners taking to the field with Turkey and the Netherlands respectively.
