La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the FIGC Federal Prosecutor has found evidence of Lautaro Martinez’s blasphemy after a 1-0 loss against Juventus, but the Inter star can escape a possible ban if he agrees to a plea bargain.

Inter star Lautaro Martinez is unlikely to face a one-game ban for blasphemy even if the FIGC Prosecutor has reportedly found evidence that the Argentinean ace did use a blasphemous phrase after a defeat to Juventus two weeks ago.

As Gazzetta explained, the sports judge could not intervene in the aftermath of the game as there was no audio evidence of Lautaro’s blasphemy. The proof was found only a few days ago after the FIGC prosecutor opened an investigation.

Lautaro has one week to decide what to do. One option is to face a sports trial in the Federal Court and risk a one-game ban. The other pathway is to agree to a plea bargain and get a fine.

Gazzetta argues that Inter will likely push for this second option even if Lautaro recently denied using a blasphemous phrase.
