Reigning Serie A champions Inter have now sealed a move for Roma winger Nicola Zalewski.
The Pole was out of the club’s project at the start of the season and Roma had attempted to sell the player. But after the attempts failed, he was reintegrated into the squad.
His exit is now on the brink and he is about to join Inter. Pasquale Guarro has reported that talks between Inter and Roma have almost concluded and the move is virtually set to go through.
The Poland international is expected to arrive in Milan between Saturday and Sunday to undergo a medical with Inter and sign a contract.
The 23-year-old will join Inter on a loan deal but the Nerazzurri have the option to buy him permanently for a fee of only €6 million. The Giallorossi are doing work to extend his contract before the loan deal goes through, as Zalewski’s current deal at the Olimpico runs out in the summer of 2025.
