Sky Sport Italia suggest Inter are preparing a potentially shocking swoop for Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma from Paris Saint-Germain.
A return to Serie A has been suggested before for Juventus, but for the former Milan man to play at San Siro in the shirt of their bitter rivals would be truly headline-grabbing.
The Nerazzurri need to look towards the long-term, as Yann Sommer is already 36 years old and his performances this season were not quite as sharp as his debut campaign.
Donnarumma is under contract with PSG until June 2026, but his position is no longer necessarily rock solid under coach Luis Enrique.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, there is some contact between Inter and Donnarumma’s entourage.
It is early days and depends on if there is any progress over negotiating a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
The goalkeeper turns 26 next month and made his Serie A debut for Milan at the tender age of 16, going on to leave as a free agent in the summer of 2021.
He already has 70 senior caps for Italy and is determined to beat Gianluigi Buffon’s record.
