Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta has further tied himself to Inter, becoming a shareholder with a stake of nearly 2% in the club, the Nerazzurri confirmed in a statement on their official website.
This move comes just a year after he was appointed club President by the shareholders’ meeting in June 2024. His investment in the club reflects both his personal commitment and full alignment with ownership Oaktree Capital Management.

Marotta, who boasts nearly four decades in football management, is widely regarded as one of the sport’s most influential directors.
Since joining Inter in 2018, he has overseen a period of resurgence, helping guide the Nerazzurri back to domestic and European prominence. His partnership with Oaktree has already led to the launch of a multi-year strategic plan, with the creation of the new U23 team a symbol of a sustainable, future-focused development.
