Inter’s home meeting with Como on Monday will be the perfect chance for the Nerazzurri to once again eye Nico Paz, as they are reportedly planning a strategy to bring him to the San Siro in the future.
The attacking midfielder has impressed in Serie A since joining Cesc Fabregas’ side last summer, and the Biscione have been keeping close tabs on the 20-year-old, with their vice-president Javier Zanetti recently scouting the player in person.
However, Inter know Real Madrid could still activate a €12m buy-back clause to bring the youngster back to the Santiago Bernabeu, but they want to be prepared in case the Spanish giants decide not to do it.

As reported by la Gazzetta dello Sport, Paz’s profile perfectly fits the view of new owners Oaktree, who look willing to invest in young and talented players.
The Nerazzuri feel they could get an edge in the race to sign the Argentina international by including in the deal Francesco Pio Esposito, who is currently on loan at Serie B side La Spezia, where he has scored nine goals from 16 matches.
Moreover, Inter believe Paz’s connection with their captain Lautaro Martinez, also a teammate in the national team, could make a difference in convincing the former Real Madrid starlet to join Simone Inzaghi’s side.
The Argentinean scored his second Serie A goal of the season in his side’s 2-0 win over Roma last week, and also has four assists to his name from 15 appearances.
