Inter Milan had a relatively quiet January transfer window, barring the loan addition of Nicola Zalewski from Roma.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the reigning Serie A champions received six out of ten for their winter transfer dealings.
Indeed, after letting Tajon Buchanan join Villarreal on loan with an option to buy, Inter had to return to the market for a new wingback.
Nicola Zalewski quickly emerged as the ideal candidate to fill the vacancy.
And Inter didn’t waste much time striking a deal with Roma.
They completed the transfer on short notice, with the 23-year-old arriving on loan with a buyout option.
Zalewski’s signing paid dividends in the Milan derby as he delivered a crucial assist in Sunday’s 1-1 draw.
However, there’s a feeling Inter could’ve done more in attack.

Mehdi Taremi has not enjoyed a dream start to life in Serie A by any stretch of the imagination.
Indeed, he has only netted one penalty in league action this season.
Therefore, Inter could’ve added to Simone Inzaghi’s attacking options but chose not to.
That could change once Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa bid farewell in the summer.
