Inter Milan striker Sebastiano Esposito prefers a move to Cagliari over Parma, but the latter are offering more to Inter.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

The past few days have seen a real tug-of-war emerge regarding Inter striker Sebastiano Esposito.

It has always seemed clear that the Italy Under-21 international would leave Inter for good this summer.

Esposito has gone out on a string of loan moves. Last season he was on loan at Empoli.

But this summer, Inter are keen to sell Esposito outright once and for all.

A few clubs in Serie A have shown an interest in Esposito’s signature. Fiorentina have been sounding out a deal for the 23-year-old for a number of weeks.

However, two clubs have been pushing to sign Esposito in the last few days.

Cagliari have been in talks with Inter this week. They’re pushing to finally wrap up a deal for Esposito.

However, earlier this week Parma reportedly also looked to hijack the Rossoblu’s deal, which had hit a couple snags.

Yesterday, though, Cagliari made another advance to sign Esposito.

And according to the Gazzetta, the situation is that Esposito himself would prefer to join the Rossoblu.

However, Parma’s offer to Inter is a bit higher than that of Cagliari. Therefore, the Nerazzurri prefer to sell the striker to the Emilian club.
