A whole host of members of the first-team setup at Italian heavyweights Inter Milan this week moved to make clear their appreciation for the talents of Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal.
This, of course, comes after the 17-year-old ran the Nerazzurri ragged during a recent Champions League tie between the clubs.
En route to Barcelona being sent packing from Europe at the hands of Simone Inzaghi’s troops, Lamine conjured up two of the standout performances of his fledgling career to date.
A stunning individual goal, countless scintillating dribbles and the kind of creativity seen only once in a blue moon were all on show on the part of the prodigious winger.
And safe to say, that such excellence was not at all lost on his opponents…
Speaking as part of their media duties ahead of the upcoming Champions League final, Inter Milan’s squad were this week asked to name the toughest player they have faced this season.
And no fewer than six, including the likes of Alessandro Bastoni and Marcus Thuram, went on to name Lamine as the player in question.
