Inter Milan Sense Opportunity For Crunch Talks With Turkiye International Amidst Fenerbahce Interest | OneFootball

Inter Milan hope to hold decisive talks with midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu in a bid to resolve his future, as Fenerbahce wait in the wings.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, and via FCInterNews.it, the Turkish international has turned down a move to Galatasaray but is not shutting the door on a switch to their Istanbul rivals.

Calhanoglu’s future at Inter is in serious doubt after a summer of discontent and the former AC Milan star is not without suitors, but Fenerbahce are currently falling short of Inter’s asking price of €30 million.

Jose Mourinho’s side are ready to offer €20m for Calhanoglu, with terms on a €10m per year contract already in agreement, but Inter are not willing to lose him in a cut-price deal.

As such, it is reported that the chances of the 31-year-old departing are currently considered slim.

With the squad due to report back for preseason training next week, Inter have identified an opportunity to hold crunch talks with Calhanoglu in order to determine his future.
